In 2017 Scoil Mhichil Naofa achieved the green flag for water conservation. This is the third flag in the programme and throughout this endeavour the children learned about the importance of developing an awareness around water and how to effectively manage this vital resource for life. This was obtained through careful evaluation of how water is consumed both in school and at home. Shown below is a picture of our committee presenting a summation of their work to the school community on the day we officially opened our school extension.
